During the growth period, rubber plantations absorb CO2 and thus counteract climate change.
After felling, the valuable and versatile wood is fed into the timber industry and processed into numerous construction and wood products.

Rubber Plantations

TIMBERFARM operates its rubber plantations as sustainable agricultural and forestry timberland plantations. The company has the necessary knowledge and experience as well as the qualified personnel to implement all the agricultural and forestry activities efficiently and with a focus on results.

TIMBERFARM focuses on the main tasks
a) ecological planting of rubber plantations
b) sustainable management of rubber plantations
c) maximum latex yield
d) optimal development of timber volume
e) best timber quality

Basically, trees do not need much more than light and water to grow. But in the case of a sustainable rubber plantation it is about yielding the highest possible amount of latex, the largest possible timber volume, and the best possible timber quality. The conditions for this are created through optimum management. A comparison between unmanaged rubber plantations or poorly managed ones, on the one hand, and systematically and ideally managed ones, on the other, shows a significant difference in yields. While poorly managed or unmanaged rubber plantations generate annual net returns of one to three percent, those professionally operated rubber plantations post annual net earnings of an average of eight to twelve percent.

The right management activities at the right time are absolutely essential for a modern plantation.
